Sodium Sulfite

Inorganic sodium salt with reducing and antioxidant character. It is used as a dechlorinating agent and oxygen scavenger in water treatment, as an antioxidant preservative in foods and as an auxiliary in tanning and other industrial processes, according to applicable regulations.
