Medium-molecular-weight polyvinylpyrrolidone (K30 grade), a water-soluble synthetic polymer. It forms flexible, clear films and acts as a binder and dispersing or suspending agent. It is used in hair fixatives, tablets and granulates, suspensions and cleaner additives, where it contributes to dispersion and film formation.

High-viscosity cross-linked acrylic polymer, widely used to thicken and stabilize gels and emulsions. After neutralization it produces clear gels with a characteristic rheology, and suspends particles and actives with great efficiency at low use levels. It is also used in topical pharmaceutical and veterinary gels and in household care products.
