Cationic copolymer of vinylpyrrolidone and dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate quaternized with diethyl sulfate. It forms clear, flexible films and provides conditioning. It is used in hair fixatives, styling gels and mousses and conditioners, and in other personal care products, with good compatibility in aqueous systems.
