Magnesium salt of stearic acid used as a lubricant and anti-sticking agent in the compression of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical tablets and capsules. In cosmetics it improves the compressibility, adhesion and slip of pressed powders and eyeshadows, with some water repellency. In foods it is used as an anticaking agent, in line with applicable regulations.
