Petroleum-derived wax with a fine crystalline structure that provides flexibility and cohesion to stick products. It is associated with reduced oil exudation in lipsticks and greater resistance to stick breakage. It is also used as a base and consistency agent in pharmaceutical, veterinary and nutraceutical products, and in foods as a coating agent in accordance with applicable regulations.
