One of the vegetable waxes with the highest hardness and melting point in common cosmetic use. It provides rigidity, shine and heat resistance in lipsticks, pencil eyeliners and mascaras. In foods and in pharmaceutical, veterinary and nutraceutical products it is used as a glazing and coating agent in accordance with applicable regulations.
