Betaine
Osmolyte and methyl group donor compound used in formulations for animal nutrition. It is associated with intestinal osmotic balance and with sparing other methyl donors in the diet, in accordance with applicable regulations. In personal care it is used as a humectant of natural origin.
Choline Chloride
Nutrient used in premixes and compound feeds as a source of choline for animal nutrition. It is associated with fat metabolism, liver function and the supply of methyl groups, in line with applicable regulations. It is offered in liquid form or supported on a carrier to facilitate its incorporation into the mix; it is also used in supplements and oral pharmaceutical preparations.
Cobalt Sulfate
Water-soluble inorganic cobalt salt, usually found as a hydrate. It is used as a source of cobalt (micronutrient) in mineral premixes for animal nutrition, and as an input in electroplating baths, ceramic pigments and driers for paints and varnishes. Its handling requires precautions owing to the toxicological characteristics of cobalt salts, so the applicable regulations are verified for each use.
Copper Sulfate
Source of copper used in mineral premixes for animal nutrition. Copper is associated with iron metabolism, pigmentation and enzyme function, in line with applicable regulations. Outside animal nutrition it is used in water and pool treatment, as an agricultural trace element and as the basis of fungicidal products.
